Youth Air Rifle Fishing Forever 2011
The Parksville-Qualicum Fish and Game Association is a not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our outdoor recreation heritage and the habitat that sustains it.
Our roots in the Oceanside area of Eastern Vancouver Island go back almost 100 years. We will mark our centennial in 2012.

Our Mission
- To preserve and protect our environment and wildlife.
- Support new legislation and promote observance of existing legislation relating to conservation, wildlife and firearms safety.
- Encourage an appreciation of sportsmanlike conduct.
- Support education in the areas of ecology and wildlife.
- Cooperate with all groups and government agencies having similar objectives.
- Assist in the prevention of forest fires.
- Support education in firearms safety and hunter training.
- Provide recreational facilities for the shooting sports.

Born and raised in Sask where he learned to Winnipeg native; resident of Nanoose Bay for 20 yrs;
hunt and fish; received firearms training during 5 years with former journalist; currently strategic planning
the RC Navy avid recreational shooter and flyfisher; has been and corporate communications consultant; avid target
a member of 4 fish and game clubs and an exec member of shooter and equestrian.

Chris Hale, Vice-President
Chris has lived in Nanoose since 1972.
His fun things in life are hunting, fishing,
hiking, riding ATVs, and jumping out of
airplanes.
