Conservation

Club president Len Fong presenting a cheque for $1000.00 to Tim Clermont, the Wetlands manager for the Nature Trust of British Columbia. This PQFG donation will be used to help pay down the Nature Trust debt related to the purchase of the block 602 land.

Hatchery

The hatchery is named after Mrs.Marion Baker, a long time club member, who dedicated many years of her life to this project. It was built in the 1980's by PQFG members voluntary labour, with major funding coming from the Salmonid Enhancement Program of the Federal Fisheries Department.

Fishing Forever

Another great fishing day for about 25 senior citizens from local lodges who spent a day on the water, salmon fishing in volunteers boats.

Fund Raising Banquet

A fund raising banquet, with dancing, raffles and silent auctions is held annually in February.

Gun Show

A gun show is held every June at the Arrowsmith Hall in Coombs.

RDN Stewardship Group Water Quality Network Monitoring Program
